Nursery at St Antony's
As part of their course students invited our Nursery children into St Antony's for baking and craft. We had a great time. Thank you St Antony's.
Rugby
At rugby with Year 4. We certainly have some talented girls and boys.
Year 6 Residential
We have just enjoyed a fabulous week with the Year 6 in the Lake District.
Once again they were a credit to their families and school with exceptional behaviour.
Well done children.
The Cooperative
Thank you to the Cooperative on Barton Road who have donated £100 to school. Some of the School Council are pictured here with the store manager.
Bella Bear
Here is Bella Bear from Reception 1 with our friends in Italy. We visited many schools in Italy and here she is at the mountain school at Santa Maria. Some of the children here visited Manchester in March. Can you see them?

Having great fun with Year 2/3 and Salford Reds!
Stations of the Cross
On Monday afternoon of Holy Week Father Michael took all Key Stage 2 into church to carry out work on the Stations of the Cross.
As always they worked very hard and with great enthusiasm.
Thank you Father Michael.
Manchester United
On Saturday we took 26 year 3 and 4 children to Old Trafford to watch United. Thankfully on this occasion they won!
The children, as always, were very well behaved and had a great time!
Well done children.
Year 1 at Manchester United
This week I had the pleasure of taking some Year 1 children to a Manchester United football festival. While there they met Fred the Red and saw the Premiership Trophy. Possibly for the last time in a while!
Mud!
I had a wonderful time this afternoon with the Nursery children in the allotments and mud kitchen.
Violin Assembly 2
On Friday Mrs Ali and the older children treated us all to a fantastic violin assembly. It was a pleasure to see how their skills have developed. Well done to them and thank you to Mrs Ali for all her hard work.
A concert for parents will take place in July.
My Favourite Children's Book
Once again I took the opportunity to dress up as a character from my favourite book as a child 'James and the Giant Peach.' Here I am with Mr Smith dressed as Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker. (Or is it the Ugly Sisters?)
A great day!
