Our Own Word Mats

We made our own word mats. We printed a farm background using rollers (we remembered the muddy tracks that the tractor made). We then put on our farm characters and then we labelled them. We had to think hard about the letter sounds!

Pull That Turnip!

Our assembly was fantastic! We loved it so much that when we had the music on in class we organised ourselves to “pull that turnip out”.

Ladybird Number

We loved doing our Ladybird number activity. We had to read the numeral, and then print the correct number of dots onto each ladybird. We checked that we had done it correctly by counting each spot!

Tractor Tracks!

We remembered our bumpy tractor ride at the farm! We used the rollers to make different patterns with the paint. We talked about colour, pattern and texture. We are going to use our pictures to make our own Farm Word Mats.
