Sewing skills!
We have now all learnt to sew using a simple stitch. We have each made our own finger puppet that we have been using to help retell stories in Religion.

Our Caterpillars have become Chrysalides!
This week we have observed our caterpillars become chrysalides! On Monday we will be moving them to the Butterfly Habitat in preparation for them to emerge as butterflies.

Monet inspired artwork
This week in Reception we have been learning all about Monet. We read the book ‘Monet’s Cat’ and then produced our own Monet inspired artwork based on his famous painting ‘The Water Lily Pond, 1899’.

Bug Hotel!
As part of our Minibeasts theme we have made a Bug Hotel and we have already spotted some tiny caterpillars! So we now have caterpillars inside and outside to observe!
